Use this visual guide of South Skookum Lake as a food for thought if you're planning a Washington fishing adventure, or even just a camping one!
South Skookum lake is located in the Colville National Forest. There is a forest service campground at the lake with a campground host. A beautiful hiking trail goes around the lake and there is a small boat launch and two fishing docks. South Skookum has both rainbow and brook trout that range between 10"-14" in size. The campsites are laid out so that you get a good feel of seclusion. Being that it is a small lake, it is great for kayaking or canoeing.
