This footage of fishing on Lake Lenore aims to give you a clear picture of the landscape and qualities of this area. Consider stopping by this scenic location to reel some big ones!
Lake Lenore lies in what is called the "Lower Grand Coulee". At the end of the ice age, a massive flood carved out this region and left some of the most gorgeous scenery in the world. I refer to this area as "the mini Grand Canyon". The lake offers some of the best fishing in the state. Stocked with Lahontan Cutthroat, these fish thrive in the alkaline waters and grow to enormous size. Lenore is a favorite lake for fly fisherman from all over the northwest. While fishing this lake, be sure to take along your camera!
